Loyalty, Love and Contentment.


I will not leave my home for you. I will not turn my back on the man who was there when you weren't. I will not cause pain to the man who comforted, protected, and made me feel safe when the world was unkind. He became my rock, my sword and my shield when I was bruised, battered and unsure that I will ever smile again. Why would I leave my home for you?

Instead, I invite you to my home with open arms, warmth and kindness. I never want to leave this place, or lose the feelings it gives me. I don't have to leave my home to have communion with you. Come into my home, where I feel safe, loved and strong, and let us be friends again. Maybe then, I could leave my home and visit yours some day because it too might feel like home for me too.

Over it! No More. No Thanks!

You know what? Fuck it! I have things to do, people to see, places to go and things to achieve.  I did the iron transfusion last week Thursday, shot an ad the next day on Friday, rested on Saturday, had a workshop on Sunday, went to the Embassy in Pretoria this Thursday, and rested in between. So, I have wasted enough time. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday were a write off. So was Friday. I can't afford that. Of all the things I need to do, going to studio and doing two astrological charts are the only things left unticked. So, I am ticking those this coming week, screw how awful I feel. Seriously! Ugh! Bleh! Whatever!

Dearest Reader, The worst thing that I can ever experience is the realization of having hurt myself due to having a Pollyanna attitude. I am listening to Sia’s “Breathe Me”, as I write this, feeling as vulnerable as she is feeling in the song. This vulnerability and hurt is not caused by anyone but me. I am fully accountable for how I feel. I am not under any illusions that anyone is to blame for my scars, nicks and bruises. I did it. No one is to blame. And, what saddens me about this is: Why would I allow myself to hurt? Why would I choose to make my life anything but always happy? Is this a subconscious self-hatred manifesting? Do I like pain? Do I enjoy having tears come down my face instead of laughter and joy? Fame Vs Infamy

My Solar Return Chart 2012 to 2013 Dearest Reader, (The chart is for those with sense to read times and watch the stars. To the rest of you, happy ignorance) All my life, I have been struggling with fame and infamy, trying not to be the latter and hoping to be the former. Yesterday, was the tipping point where I realized that I have been fighting a losing battle. I am not meant for fame, and if I hope for any recognition, infamy is the only way to get it. I might have distorted views about myself, but I am under the impression that I am not very liked for who I am. The thing is, who I am is not something I try to be. I am just who I am, and I do what feels right, when it feels right. I also have no desire or energy to be treating people better or worse than what I wish.
